According to a NewsChannel 9 story posted yesterday Time Warner is out of HD PVR boxes for its customers due to an overwhelming number of requests, according to the company. Well either that or Time Warner just didn't organise getting enough of them.2. Just called Time Warner in the Los Angeles area and they are out of all HD boxes. Not just the ones with DVR

3. Maybe this means they'll get some more HD programming. I don't know ho wmuch I'm paying fo rlike 10 channels in HD. And the PVR isn't that great.

4. Are they the Motorola 6416 boxes? Maybe there are some you could buy from Canada, or another cable operator. After the proper reset, the new network should be able to make use of them. Some people have bought comcast boxes form the US and got them to work on the shaw cable network up here in Canada.

1. Well here in Los Angeles, TW's been out of regular HD boxes for almost a month now. Knock on wood, I'll finally be getting installation this Saturday, but I won't believe it til I see it.
