Engadget has released some pictures of the new 1TB Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 from this weeks CES which will go for $399.
Seeing the hard drive ready and packaged in its box, and considering that SeaGate is also readying its own 1TB hard drive, I think we can expect to see the Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 on our shelves very soon, possibly by the end of the month.
The device will be able to hold 250,000 songs or 1,000 hours of SDTV or 250 hours of HDTV or 333,300 photos.
