Taking a breath away from the hectic CES for a minute, Sanyo has announced a new digital video recorder series for surveillance systems, the DSR-2004Hxxx DVRs. The main selling point of the surveillance DVR series is that it features multi-client accessibility and access capabilities with triplex function for simultaneous recording.Other features include MPEG-4 recording, a hard disk up to 500GB, recording rate up to 120 ips at 360 x 240 per channel, and ability to adjust recording rate of individual cameras from 1-30 ips.
In addition the DSR-2004H series features the regular surveillance DVR functions such as motion detection alarms, ability to record, playback and monitor live camera images via the network and the ability to search recorded data by event and time.
