HP's showing off the new MediaSmart HDTV line at CES, and our buddies at Engadget have been kind enough to snap a few photos.
The MediaSmart TV comes in 42-inch and 47-inch varieties, both sporting 1080p LCD screens. Oh yeah, and they act as Vista Media extenders. Don't have Vista? No problem. You can still use the TV to connect to HP Media Portal and access online media services such as Snapfish, Rhapsody, and Live365 Radio.
The TV includes 3 HDMI ports, integrated 802.11a/b/g, and an integrated ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner. There's no CableCard. The press release touts support for multiple audio and video formats including DivX, WMV, MPEG-1/2/4, and H.264. But I don't see anything about a hard drive, so I assume these are formats that you can play from a network attached storage device or PC.
