I-O data is launching two new TV tuners that it claims are Windows Vista compatible. What's interesting is that I haven't seen many claims that existing TV tuners aren't Vista capable. In fact, there are plenty of reports of people installing pre-release copies of Vista and playing around with its Media Center functions without having to upgrade TV tuners.
That said, I-O Data's got a PCI card (GV-MC/RX3) and a USB model (GV-MC/TZ), each of which can handle video capture and TV tuning. They both have S-Video and composite inputs and noise reduction. There's an optional IR remote.
Both are set to launch in January, in Japan at least, with the PCI card running ¥12,500 ($105) and the external tuner going for ¥14,600 ($123).
