Sling Media has an early Christmas present for Slingbox Classic owners. While users of the new Slingbox Pro, AV, and Tuner boxes have had access to SlingPlayer version 1.4 since the fall, early adopters with an original Slingbox were stuck with version 1.3.On Friday, Sling issued an update allowing all Slingbox models to work with SlingPlayer 1.4 on Windows.
The update includes improved display quality for HD Connect users, and the addition of Sling Accounts, a free service that stores your Slingbox FinderID online so you can easily access your Slingbox from multiple computers. For a full list of changes, you can check out the release notes.
