GB-PVR is close to launching a new version of its free PC PVR software. I've personally been an avid fan of GB PVR because it is an excellent free alternative to paid products such as SageTV and BeyondTV allowing you to convert your PC to a PVR on budget.The new version of GB PVR is currently in private beta testing so we should expect a new version anytime soon. It's actually been slightly delayed since the developer of GBPVR had his internet connection knocked out by a truck driving through a cable cabnet on the side of his road.
I'll post an update when the new version becomes available, probably in time for the New Year.
