The folks over at Sling Media have been busy little bees. There are a series of public and private betas in place for a variety of SlingPlayer clients. These include an updated SlingPlayer for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.3, SlingPlayer 1.5 for Windows, and an updated version of SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows smartphones that will feature improved performance on Dash/Excalber and Blackjack smartphones.
There should be a new public beta available of the Mac client any day now, and the word on the street (err... blog) is that the next version of the Smartphone client will run on all supported smartphones. Current beta testers have to navigate a series of different builds to find the right version for their phone.
The HD connect device has ended its initial beta tests and is currently shipping.
And finally, Sling's developers are continuing to work on a Palm client. They're not far enough along to announce any sort of a beta test yet, but it should be coming soon.

1. Slingplayer Rocks!
I use it on every device I have, PC notebook, MacPro, MacBook Pro, and WM5 xv6700.
I'm glad to see they are improving the time between updates.
