When you work out how much you are paying each month for your DirecTV subscription, and then work out what you pay yearly you may very well hit a figure closing in on $1000.But if you were truly addicted to TV you could be spending a lot more. For just $7,500 a year you could have the ultimate DirecTV subscription with access to every television channel that DirecTV offers.
The figure was calculated by PCMag and would give you every movie package, every sports package, every pay per view channel and more than 250 regular TV channels to choose from. It would also include 10 receivers including HD PVRs and a 24-hour concierge service and VIP installation.
This has led me to wonder how much some people are willing to pay for television services. If anyone out there has a huge cable/satellite/TV bill then let us know how much it is and what you get for it.
