I have a specific set of features I look for in a watch. It must be huge. I enjoy feeling like I've got a ham radio strapped to my wrist all day.
Next, it must be gaudy and ugly in an attractive way. I like the watch to be a bit of an eyesore but intriguing so people feel the need to ask me questions about it.
Finally, the more miscellaneous functions the watch can perform that are not date and time related the better. I really like it when someone asks me the time and I say, "Sorry, can't help you there, but would you like to know your horoscope?" Kills me every time.
My current watches that pass the test are a Fossil Smart Watch FX3005 and a Fossil Wrist PDA AU5005 with the Palm OS.
I've found the latest watch I'd like to add to my collection and it fits my above requirements nicely.
The Brando MP4 watch is a USB 2.0 wrist PMP that houses a full gig of flash memory. It's capable of recording eight hours of voice, playing MP3s/WMAs, and playing MP4 (MPEG) video in 65K color - all on a 128 X 128 pixel screen.
Much less impressively, the watch also displays the date and time.
It seems very similar to the watch Brad posted on a while back but is slightly more hideous and therefore more conducive to my tastes.
The MP4 Watch can be found here in orange or black for the reasonable price of $98.
