TiVo's gone and upgraded its rebate program for Series2 boxes. You can now get $220 off the price of a standard 80-hour TiVo and $180 off the price of a dual-tuner Series2.That brings the price of the dual-tuner box to $69, and the standard 80-hour TiVo is now free as long as you sign up for a 1-year or longer service plan.
The deal is good from today through December 31st. If you already have a Series2 unit, that means you can pick up a second box for as little as $83.40 ($6.95 a month for 12 months).

1. Where do you get a rate of $6.95 a month? The rate I see on the web site is $19.95 a month on a month to month basis or $16.58 per month if you prepay for a year.
