In response to the growing demand for High Definition video LiteOn has launched its new HD-A970GX HDD/DVD hybrid PVR.The HD-A970GX comes with a 320GB hard drive and is HD ready with a single HDMI cable. It is also able to enchance lower resultion analog signals using a video upscaler.
The HD-A970GX uses DivX technology to record video meaning that all videos can be played on a PC as well as being transferred to a portable media player.
The hybrid PVR can also play DVDs, copy video from DVDs, and even record to DVDs.

1. It's not easy to see what kind of tuner is in this set. Is it QAM/ATSC?
It wouold be really clever if it were CableCard enabled but it isn't.
