Gigabyte plans to launch a PDA phone early next year that will include 2 digital TV tuners and feature the ability to record programs. That feature is described as "limited TV recording capabilities," so it's not entirely clear whether you'll be able to record shows directly to your device or use the phone as a TV tuner for a PC, or if there's some other way to record shows that I'm missing.
Anyway, the Gigabyte g-Smart i200 will have a 2.69-inch VGA touch screen display, 512MB onboard memory, a USB 2.0 port (for TV-out to your computer), and built in DVB-H and DVH-T receivers. It'll run on the next version of Windows Mobile, codenamed Crossbow.
These devices are meant for the Asian market. Gigabyte currently sells mobile phones in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Indonesia, with plans to expand into Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam by the end of the year.
