Last week I mentioned that Comcast has updated the software on its set top boxes. The recognized changes were:- High Definition programs are now labeled as HD.
- The PVR menu has been updated to include a search function.
- The main menu now has a HD option.
Improvements are:
- Easy access multi-favorites lists.
- New indicators for free on demand shows.
- A status bar to show you how long you have been watching a TV show.
- Improvements to the PVR menu.
- Parental Controls
- And more....

1. Now, if Cox communications would finally update thier Commadore64 user interface. I would be glad if they would at least just use something more than the 4-bit color scheme menu, and some sort of anti-aliasing. Oh, how I long for a high-def TiVo.
