Doug Berrett has released version 4.0 of his WebGuide for Windows Media Center Edition.
The new version still allows you to schedule MCE recordings from any web-enabled computer, but now also allows you access to program guide data through PocketPCs and Smartphones.
There's also a new user interface, with new organization for scheduling and managing recordings, as well as searching the electronic program guide.
The latest version also lets you access music, pictures, and recorded videos through the web, and if your MCE machine is connected to the same home network as your PC or PDA, you can watch recorded shows through Windows Media Center. This is something I actually use Orb for sometimes, if I'm using my computer but my wife wants to watch a show we've already recorded. I'd imagine the video stream should be smoother using WebGuide, since it's LAN-based.
