Hagiwara Sys-Com has released a new MPEG-4 recording device that will allow you to record video directly to a Memory Stick Card. The Easy Recorder 2 enters a market that's starting to look crowded. Sandisk, iTech, and Neuros have already released similar products, most of which are capable of recording to multiple flash memory formats, and not just Memory Sticks.
Anyway, this one has three resolution settings, (768Kbps/30fps, 384Kbps/15fps, and 192Kbps/15fps), and is designed to work with Playstation portables. You can also transfer movies from the memory stick to your computer (obviously), and copy them over to an iPod that way. It doesn't seem like a very elegant solution, but that's how it works.
It supports Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo, and is available now for $140.
