The SnapStream Blog has a detailed post on how to get BeyondTV to work with Hauppauge's MediaMVP. The MediaMVP is a small box that lets you stream audio, video, and picture files from your PC to your television set over your home network. It comes in wireless or wired varieties. And industrious users of PC-based PVR software like BeyondTV, SageTV, and GB-PVR have figured out ways to make it work better with their software of choice.
BeyondTV user and beta tester Jack Romano and a small team of enthusiasts designed a skin for the MediaMVP that not only matches the BeyondTV interface, it also adds functions. As soon as you configure an MVP, you'd be able to watch any videos recorded by your PVR software. But you wouldn't be able to watch live television, or to delete programs recorded by BeyondTV. This program fixes all that, and adds extra features including the ability to view photos or listen to music (which are normally only available through Snapstream's Beyond Media).
