2. Has anyone received a shipping notice from TiVo? The email stated the Series 3 will ship no later than the 15th... well its the 16th and still no shipping info (tracking and the like). Well two things are now knowen about the Series 3... it took years to develope and took months to ship.

3. No - no one has received a TiVo.com order because, quite frankly, they have yet to get their crap together to ship these things. Or is it that they shipped them to retailers instead of to the customers that paid for them in anticipation of high demand in retail channels?

5. I just saw this for the Tivo Series listing on Amazon:

You can find that by click on the 2 used & new link under more buying choices.

The first link is from Amazon which is lists the back-order date.

Dec. 31st seems rather slow for an in stock date.

6. TiVo's service has really been teh suck. I ordered on the 12th and called TiVo the next day when I noticed that I'd accidentally opted for the default sloooow shipping. They said it was too late to change it. Then they didn't actually ship it out til the 16th anyway. Now it will take up to 6 business days from now before it gets here. That'll be 2 weeks after I ordered, and meanwhile the box is starting to turn up in retail stores. Good example of treating your keenest customers like dirt.

7. Like I stated before I was on of those customer who receoived the "email" my orginal order time stamp was/is 9/12/2006 5:51:00 PM however today I received a new invoice/statment that and the purchase date has changed:

New Order Date: 09/14/2006 / 16:16:46
"The EMAIL timestamp": Thu, 14 Sep 2006 18:16:57 -0700 (PDT)

Something fishy? Oh and yes this new invoice does still have the next day shipping charge! I wish I had a tivo email address I could vent to.
