Engadget via Dave Zatz via TG Daily uncovered documents on the FCC site regarding a slimmer, uglier version of the Slingbox on the horizon.
The Slingbox AV, as it's been dubbed, looks a bit like a decapitated version of the Luxor Hotel in Vegas, assuming it were actually possible to decapitate a building.
As far as features go, the redesigned unit has audio/video inputs on the side which should accomodate the streaming of recorded content available on your PVR or DVD player.
The unit also appears to lack a coax input. Aside from the cosmetic changes, these appear to be the biggest alterations from the original Slingbox.
No clue as to when you can buy the beast or how much it will cost but we'll certainly post on it when that info becomes available. Until then, click through to get a few different looks.
