If you did not know already TiVo recently won an Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for Interactive Television. Recently published over at the official TiVo blog is an interesting interview with TiVo's cofounder Jim Barton and Vice President of User Experience Design & Research, Margret Schmidt.
The interview is a nice insight into some of TiVo's plans and also the lives of the two TiVo decision makers. Jim states that he is more concerned with the video-related activities of internet companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo rather than related television companies.
I would have to agree with Jim on this one; the internet is definitely going to be the medium of choice in the future for delivering rich media content and I know Martin shares the same view.
The interview is not all serious talk though; find out what Margret's preferred superpower would be and find out what's on Jim's TiVo Now Playing list.
