Orb Networks has released their new DVR Everywhere software, allowing TiVo users to access content directly
from their Series 2 box anywhere in the world over an Internet connection.2. Who knows... maybe they're planning on releasing it for any networked PVR...

3. This has been out for many months... first as TiVo Anywhere and then DVR Everywhere I'm guessing the press release is designed to take advantage of TiVo's recent positive news and coverage.
The content isn't accessed directly from a non-hacked TiVo, files are streamed from the PC which is still pretty cool. Scheduling requires you to give up your TiVo.com login information to Orb.

1. Not sure why you would say 'Presumably any other networked PVR', everything I see on the site says "TiVo only". It's really a pity, because Orb had previously managed to stay away from any platform specific media sources. I see this as a step in the wrong direction for them.
