Apparently, KFC has created a new ad which contains a hidden message aimed at TiVo
users. If you watch the ad in slow motion, you can decode the message, and collect a coupon for a free chicken sandwich, if that sort of thing floats your boat.
It's not exactly "TiVo-proof", but at least it's a slightly more inventive way of approaching ads in a PVR world.
I seem to remember Paramount creating a similar ad for Star Trek: Generations was released, which contained information compressed across the screen which could only be viewed when slowed down on a suitable VCR, so it's not as if it's anything new.
Did anyone happen record the ad when it aired on Tuesday 21 January?

1. The secret is to create ads that still get their message across when viewed in fast forward, or at least catch your eye enough to get you to watch the entire ad.
