Only two months after the product was released, subscription fees for Microsoft Program Guide, which is currently only available on the LG LRM-519, have been dropped from $9.99 a month or $249 for a lifetime subscription to zero.
Any pre-existing purchases will be refunded.
You can pick up an LRM-519 for around $599, but the single-tuner setup could prove to be a disadvantage over other products out there on the market, but the 160GB hard drive and dual layer DVD burner could be enough to persuade users to jump on-board, especially with the subscription fees gone, and perhaps if the price drops further.

1. The LRM-519 now has Microsoft's Program Guide included for FREE. I just bought this and they've dropped charging for the program guide. A lifetime subscription to the guide is now included FREE!!!!!
