Now, how many times have we all heard a headline like that?Yet again, another company steps up to the plate with a bold claim of changing people's lives with new technology, and this time, it's the turn or Protron, with their DV-220, which "combines the functions of a hard-disk-based Personal Video Recorder (PVR), with built-in wireless network connectivity and the ability to access content streams from various sources (IPTV) to give users complete control of how, when and where they playback their favorite media files and digital entertainment streams."
Now there's a mouthful for you.
The DV-220 was demonstrated at CES and features an 80GB internal hard drive, integrated 10/100, 802.11b/g wireless router and a built-in firewall. It should be available to consumers in the second quarter of this year, with a suggested retail price of $349 (although, the pictures on the official website look computer-generated).

1. Without HiDef support and HDMI interfaces it won't revolutionize ANYTHING... The industry is moving to HiDef and so is the world. How could any company come out with a "new" product in this category without support for HiDef?
