Even though I mentioned the Slingbox back in September 2005, it never quite
occurred to me that it would only be available in the U.S. as NTSC. However, it would appear that Sling Media are planning to release the device in the U.K. later this year, according to a spokesperson for the company at CES.
And get this: it'll support Sky TV.
A representative of Sling Media told Pocket-lint.co.uk that the company has been working on a European beta for several months now, and "a PAL version that supports Sky will be available in the first half of the year.”
