Acogito claims to have developed the world's first remote recording agent service (called "ACO Service"), which will be incorporated with its own HD PVR.
The ACO PVR will feature dual HD tuners and the company's proprietary, patent-pending RCXML (Remote Control eXtensible Markup Language) technology, which controls the device (and other devices around the home, apparently).
Part of the service on offer includes remote scheduling through a cellular phone or PDA and a CRM-based remote recording agent service that automatically records programs without direct input, a bit like a TiVo.
Both should be available in the U.S. from July this year.
