TiVo releases its own wireless adapter

TiVo is now selling its own 802.11g wireless adapter for $50. It connects into the USB port on the back of TiVo units and does some of the network processing by using a "full MAC chipset." For you, that means faster network throughput because the TiVo isn't doing all the hard work. And anything that speeds up the process is good news because it can take awhile to move video over your wireless network. It should speed up TiVoToGo, multi-room viewing and other network transfers. It only works with Series 2 units.
