LG isn't the only company releasing a massive HDTV screen with a built-in PVR, now Humax has thrown their hat into the ring with the announcement of a 40" LCD HDTV/PVR for the European market; the LGB40-TPVR.The new unit is set to reach the U.K. in December, priced around £2,100, featuring a twin-tuner PVR with a 40 GB internal hard drive capable of storing up to 30 hours of TV content.
It is also HD compliant, with four AV inputs, Dolby Digital output and S-Video.

1. The article doesn't say whether it's a TiVo DVR or a more generic "DVR".
According to Humax's web site it looks like the latter.
Which I guess isn't surprising since it's for the European market where AFAIK TiVo doesn't play (except for the few legacy U.K. TiVo's still out there)
I'd be curious to know the differences in features between a Humax TiVo DVR and a Humax "DVR".
