I'm not sure how old this is, but CNET has proclaimed TiVo the No. 2 product of the past 10 years. I love my TiVo, but I still think that's generous.iPod is No. 1 and Google is No. 3. I think I might put Google right above TiVo. But then I spend about as much time using my TiVo as I do searching Google. In fact, I think when I'm not listening to my iPod, I'm watching my TiVo or searching something with Google. Sometimes, I'm doing all three at once.
How about you? Where do you place TiVo on a top 10 list?

1. I think it is a fair placement. Like it or not, TiVo *is* DVR. It was the first to market and it ushered a revolution. Although I'd be tempted to put the original Napster service/program at #1 because there would not be an MP3 revolution without it. MP3 was small potatoes before Napster, just as the MP3 player market was small potatoes before the launch of the iPod. Thus the iPod would be #2 on my list modification, followed by TiVo at #3.
Hell, broadband and wifi also belong on there even if such terms blur the term "product" with "service".
They also overlooked DVD.
