My Mac and TiVo are being incredibly cooperative with each other -- and I don't know why. Maybe you can help me figure out this one.I'm not running any TiVo software (that I know of) on my Mac, yet "Todd W. Carter's Music on Todd's iBook" appears under the Music, Photos, & More page. When I click on it, it shows me two folders: one for podcasts and another for a radio show I download and store in a playlist folder on my Mac. I'm running version 7.2 on my TiVo.
I can play the dozens of podcasts I have stored on my Mac and listen to the radio show's mp3 files. However, a folder for a musician's songs does not show up. I can see it on my Mac, along with the other files that do display on the TiVo. I'm not sure why I can see and play the podcasts and radio show files, but not see the music files.
In any case, I'm just wondering why I can see anything! Is this some type of Mac networking that's automatically taking place without any need for help from me? Or maybe I'm automatically running TiVo software on my Mac and I don't know it.

1. The TiVo's networking stack includes Rendevous/Bonjour compatibility. This is a zero-configuration protocol endorsed and developed by Apple which allows systems/devices on a network the ability to broadcast and receive resource share information with each other. It can be used for web service, media repository and printer service sharing for example. For more on this check out: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/bonjour/
