A new study finds that U.S.
adults have an average of $1,135 worth of entertainment stored on
devices such as laptops/PCs, MP3 players, PVRs, mobile phones, PDAs,
digital cameras and portable movie players. The desire for even more storage space increases as these adults become more mobile, according to the survey, which was conducted by KRC Research and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.
More than half of those surveyed -- 56 percent -- said that their stored photos, music, movies and video games are somewhat important, valuable or priceless.Nearly one in five said their digital content was "priceless."
