Thanks to a reader, we've learned of a way to access the TiVoToGo feature directly through your Web browser.First, you need to discover the IP address assigned to your TiVo. You can view this in the networking section of your TiVo menu. Next, you type the address in your browser, making sure to use "https://" rather than simply "http://."
So if the address is 192.168.1.103, you type in "https://192.168.1.103." A pop-up window will ask for your username and password. Your username is "tivo" and your password is your Media Access Key.
Your browser will display all of the programs under Now Playing, along
with a Download link so you can download the recorded program to your
PC. The cool thing about this is that it works from outside your home
network, too! For more information on doing this, see this TiVo Community link. Thanks to "Man."

1. You only just now learned of this? I read about this in January. Unfortunately, since I use Mac OS X, I have no way to play or convert the downloaded .tivo file. Thanks, TiVo!
